Hello, and Welcome All Warriors, Chargers, and Pioneers!
Get ready for it! The 3rd Annual Winton Woods Alumni Soccer game!!
On Saturday, August 10, 2013, our ‘old-school’ soccer players will once again take on the current varsity soccer teams (boys and girls) at the school. We are looking to keep the positive momentum going and have the BEST event, yet! Be prepared for lots of fun, camaraderie, and memories – old and new!
This year’s logistical details are still being finalized. As always, our first step is to confirm our player pool. This will allow us to finalize the game schedules.
The date again coincides with the Annual Forest Park/Greenhills/Winton Woods Barbecue. So, play (or watch) some great (old) soccer, then go ‘get your grub on’! A great chance to enjoy spending time and catching up with friends.
Again, what we want to do now is understand our player pool and volunteers who can help us pull off this year’s event! We want to settle on our final roster of players by July 27th.
If this exciting event is ‘calling your name’, please do the following:

- Indicate whether you are a Player or Volunteer Help (or, both!)
- Indicate School (WW, FP, GH) and Class Year
- Indicate an e-mail address and telephone where you can be contacted
- Indicate your shirt size
Anyone interested in participating MUST follow the info request above. We cannot go on ‘word of mouth’ alone… WE NEED THIS INFO FROM ANYONE TO PUT YOU ON A ROSTER!
Remember – we do this all as a fundraiser to help the current soccer Warriors enjoy some of the support we all had that helped our programs compete. Alumni player fees for this year are as follows:
- $47: Graduates of 2008 and earlier
- $37: Graduates of 2009 and younger
Your player fee includes your keepsake player jersey, during-the-match refreshments, and postgame pizza, and a donation to the Warrior soccer program.
In addition to this, we will be following up with specific helpful information with our players/volunteers as it develops. Please spread this information to ANYONE that you think would like to participate.
